What matters to you
Whether a new production plant, a hotel renovation, a business takeover or expansion abroad: larger projects tie up capital for years and noticeably change a company’s liquidity. Those who plan early can realistically assess financing needs, repayments and risks and negotiate with banks on an equal footing.
We combine business planning with a tax perspective. This shows you not only whether an investment pays off, but also how it affects your balance sheet, tax burden and creditworthiness, and which provincial, national or EU funding instruments can support it.

Financial planning as the basis
Integrated planning consists of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow planning, all aligned with one another. Only this combination shows whether a company can sustain an investment not just in terms of earnings but also in terms of cash, for example when loan repayments and seasonal fluctuations coincide.
We also run different scenarios. A cautious scenario with lower sales or higher interest rates shows how much headroom there is and at what point additional funds or adjustments would be needed.

Preparing well for bank meetings
Banks assess loan applications on the basis of financial ratios, plans and the company’s track record. Reports in the Banca d’Italia’s central credit register (Centrale dei Rischi) are also taken into account. A complete and coherent financing proposal strengthens your negotiating position and can affect terms and collateral.
We prepare the documents, accompany you to meetings on request and help you compare offers. We make sure the structure is right, for example the term relative to the useful life of the investment, repayment holidays and the combination of equity, loans, leasing and guarantees.
Grants and guarantees
In South Tyrol, alongside national instruments, funding programmes of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano are also available, for example for investment, innovation, digitalisation or energy efficiency. In addition, there are state guarantees, in particular through the guarantee fund for small and medium-sized enterprises (Fondo di Garanzia per le PMI), as well as various tax credits (crediti d’imposta).
Eligibility conditions, deadlines and available funds vary by programme. We review the options for your project, ideally before the first binding order, and factor them into the financing plan.
Early warning and management control
Italian law requires business owners to set up adequate organisational and accounting structures in order to detect a crisis early (Art. 2086 Civil Code in conjunction with the Business Crisis and Insolvency Code, Codice della crisi d’impresa e dell’insolvenza). Ongoing liquidity planning is a key tool for this. We help you compare plans with actual figures regularly and take corrective action in good time.

Frequently asked questions
Answers on financial planning, subsidies and liquidity.
When should I start planning financing?
As early as possible, before contracts are awarded or signed. Many funding schemes require the application to be submitted before the investment begins, and banks need time for their assessment.
What does a bank expect from a business plan?
Above all, a clear presentation of the project, realistic projections over several years and a coherent cash-flow plan that demonstrates the ability to repay. Recent financial statements and details of collateral are usually also required.
Can several funding schemes be combined?
This is partly possible but depends on the relevant provisions. Caps on total funding or bans on combining aid often apply, for example under EU state aid rules. We check the options for combining them on a case-by-case basis.
Do you also help with liquidity shortfalls?
Yes. We analyse the causes, prepare a short-term cash flow forecast and work out measures with you, such as debt restructuring or adjusting repayment schedules. The earlier we are involved, the more room for manoeuvre there is.
How can we help you?
In the initial meeting, we clarify your request and discuss what support you need.
